ECAP Steps

Phase I - Scoping Study

1 The Applicant (the Channel Partner) downloads and completes ECAP Application. Then emails the completed application form (in the Excel format) + the scanned copy of the Letter of Acknowledgement bearing both parties signatures to applications@bomacdm.com for approval.

2 Once approved, the Applicant (the Channel Partner) carries out the study and submits the Scoping Study Report to the CDM Program Management for review. The Scoping Study Report must include the BEAT report and the Cover Report. Refer to CDM Program rules (Section 13) for report requirements.

3 Within two weeks of having submitted the Scoping Study Report the Applicant facilitates a trilateral meeting (in person or otherwise) with the Applicant, its client and the BOMA Toronto CDM Program Management representative to discuss the electrical conservation opportunities detailed within.

4 The incentive payment of $3.000 plus GST will be made to the applicant upon completion of the above steps 2 and 3. Payments will be made within 30 business days.

Phase II - Project Submission Support

1 The Applicant (the Channel Partner) submits CDM Application – identified as ECAP – Phase II.
2 Go through normal CDM Program process.
3 When the Project is complete and Project Completion Report is finalized, the Participant will receive the incentive payment within 30 business days. An amount of $2,500 is paid to the Participant in addition to the incentive amount for the verified savings, to offset the cost of having a Channel Partner complete and submit the CDM application on their behalf.

The calculations are based on industry averages and therefore provide only an estimate of potential incentive amount. BOMA Toronto and the OPA will not be held liable for any claims arising from the use of these figures in a business decision.
