Toronto, December 2, 2009 - The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Toronto Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) Program has doubled incentives for all non-lighting projects. CFM&D September, 2009 - The Conservation and Demand Management Program (CDM Program) in the 416 area code will continue for another year and target a wider audience.
Building owners and operators in the 416 area code now have an additional year to apply for retrofitting incentive funding under the CDM Program, which was introduced in 2007 and was originally supposed to end at the close of 2009.

BOMA Toronto Leads The 'Greening' Of The City’s Office Buildings

BOMA throws support behind Ontario’s Green Energy Act

September, 2009 Widespread target setting for conservation and demand management seems imminent in Ontario. The new Green Energy Act empowers the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure to establish targets for local distribution companies (LDCs) and other entities licensed by the Ontario Energy Board, along with the authority to dictate a number of other conservation and energy efficiency measures.
